Building – architectural accessibility

The building is not adapted to the special needs of blind or visually impaired people

The building is adapted to the following extent for people with special needs:

  • access for wheelchair users is possible from the inner courtyard (a ramp for the disabled to the sports area, a ramp at the main entrance with a gentle angle of inclination with a landing at the entrance;
  • induction loops installed at the ACD reception, in the exhibition space on the ground floor and in the conference room on the first floor .
  • toilets for disabled people on each floor of the building;
  • access to all rooms without architectural barriers (except technical rooms, level -1);
  • contrasting skirting boards and door frames (in relation to walls and floors);
  • elevators adapted for disabled people, including wheelchair users;
  • calling the elevator is possible using an easily accessible button located lower than the standard height;
  • the elevators have loudspeakers through which sound information is delivered - convenient for visually impaired people; markings on the control panel in Braille;
  • There are designated parking spaces for disabled people in the parking lot serving the building;
  • fire alarm system;
  • DSO sound warning system;
  • evacuation chair located in staircase number 2;
  • TOTUPOINT navigation and information system in six locations:

    • main entrance;
    • entrance from the pitch side;
    • entrance to the sports building;
    • passage to the courtyard;
    • leaving the cafe;
    • conference room 2.

You can enter the facility with an assistance dog. The scope of access for assistance animals is determined individually, depending on the specific nature of the classes being conducted..

The building is not equipped with a full information system for people with sensory disabilities. The building does not have information boards in Braille or typhlographics showing the building's layout that can be read by touch, there are no contrasting markings or in enlarged print.

There is no sign language interpreter in the building or the possibility of using an online interpreter service. The need for contact with a sign language interpreter should be reported at least 3 days before the planned visit to the Rector's Plenipotentiary for Disabled People:
